IMMIGRATION

We will gather to explore stories of the immigration experience together.

Come enjoy a cozy afternoon of reading, snacks, and conversation as we share three beautiful books:

  • Grandfather’s Journey

  • The Little House of Hope

  • Some of Us: A Story of Citizenship and the United States

Sharing Stories of Equity and Belonging

Thursday, October 16th
5th Grade to 8th Graders

Time: 7:00–8:00 PM
Location: Thomas Ford Library

Participate in story circles and create a community art project to promote understanding and belonging.

This community event will be lead by LTHS members of the Student Equity and Belonging Committee, LT Equity Ambassadors and Dr. Jennifer Rowe, The Director of Equity and Belonging.
